About Purdue Fort Wayne School of Education Garden
The School of Education Urban Garden was founded in 2019 as a demonstration and teaching garden for students, faculty, and staff at Purdue University Fort Wayne. Since its beginning, the project has hosted elementary age children for gardening activities and tours, held a farm to fork dinner at student housing, provided fresh produce to the food pantry on campus, and been involved in a number of other community events and activities. Each Wednesday we have garden meet-ups at 7:00pm to water, weed, harvest and learn about gardening during the spring, summer and fall growing season.
