Event Details

Have you ever walked through the grocery store and wondered the difference between free range, cage free, organic, and pasture raised eggs and meat?

We have a great opportunity for you to come out and take a tour of our pastured poultry farm, and have all your questions answered. Learn why we raise our chickens on pasture, and the difference it makes in your health vs. conventional chicken.

This is a free event, and you even get to take home a free dozen fresh eggs (for the first 25 who register). The whole family is invited, and you will love showing your children where the eggs they are eating come from.

Our farm store will be full of all things fall! There will be pumpkins, gourds, straw bales, mums, and lots of fun fall stuff!

This is a guided tour that is rain or shine, and we will be answering any questions you have along the way about how the farm works. We hope to see you there!

Pre-registration required

This event is free, but we ask that you register so we know how many people to expect. Please send an email to wholesomemeadows@gmail.com letting us know how many will be in your group. Thank you!

Wholesome Meadows Farm

We are a small local farm just north of Huntington about 20 minutes from Southwest Fort Wayne. Although we grow a number of items, we are best known for our chickens, tomatoes, and pumpkins!

We have 600 male meat chickens and 600 laying hens that are all out on pasture and moved several times a week to fresh pasture.

Our tomatoes are available mid July-end of August and feature our unique "Candyland" tiny tomatoes that are a customer favorite!

Our most anticipated time of the year is fall when we get to fill our store with all shapes and sizes of pumpkins and gourds, plus hay bales, ornamental corn, mums, and all the fall things! We also have a sunflower maze (typically blooming 10/1-10/20) that is a huge hit with kids of all ages!

TRAVEL TIP: We are on HWY 9 at the corner of 900. We have a sign near the road on HWY 9. Drive all the way down the driveway past the house and garage, and park in front of the store.
