Giving Garden of Indiana’s mission is to create, educate and connect communities through experiences in nature. We are an educational urban farm in Whitley County sitting on 6.71 acres of city deeded property, boasting a greenhouse, 44 garden beds and pavilion used as our outdoor classroom. We offer numerous nature immersion programs serving students aged 1-18 years old including: Little Willows Caregiver & Me, Wild Willow Nature Preschool, Farm & Forest School, and Bloom Health Initiative. Our programs serve over 180 students annually and we give away 600 free vegetable seedlings to the community each spring. Our vision is to foster positive change in our community through a reciprocal relationship with nature. Our values are education, stewardship, collaboration, connection, creativity, and discovery. Children learn about local fauna and flora through time in our garden as well as hiking excursions.
