About this Event
Specially prepared local food tasting demonstrations will be offered throughout Local Food Week at Union Street Market. Demos and tastings will include a variety of prepared meal options and snacks made with locally-sourced ingredients, including smoothies, oatcakes, air fried veggies, prepared salads and relishes, pesto and other herb condiments and more! Watch our Facebook page for details during Local Food Week! Cooking classes featuring local ingredients will also be offered. Travel Tip: Food tasting and demonstrations will be held at the Plowshares at the Market stall in the East Wing of Union Street Market. Cooking classes will be in the Teaching Kitchen on the second floor mezzanine of the West Hall of Union Street Market.
