Specially prepared local food tasting demonstrations will be offered throughout Local Food Week at Union Street Market. Demos and tastings will include a variety of prepared meal options and snacks made with locally-sourced ingredients, including smoothies, oatcakes, air fried veggies, prepared salads and relishes, pesto and other herb condiments and more!

Come enjoy a guided walk to our pastures to see the Bison calves that were born this spring, they won’t be too big yet. There will be Q&A throughout the tour along with some Bison meat and/or Bison snacks for tasting available after the tour. Enjoy shopping at our small gift store.

This event is for everyone! Come, see, and learn how local food is being produced at Purdue University - Fort Wayne. This walking tour will highlight the work of Glenn’s Natural Honey, The School of Education Urban Garden and The FRIENDS of the University Pantry at Purdue Fort Wayne. Visitors will learn how these three entities are growing, producing, and distributing local food to address food insecurity on campus and in the community.
