About Poplar Village Gardens
Poplar Village Gardens is a 1.5 acre urban food forest in the Poplar neighborhood in Fort Wayne. Our mission is 'Building community while growing food together'.
We operate on the site of an early childhood facility and include garden activities in our curriculum. Our farm grows using organic practices and strives to have a minimal carbon footprint and teach others about living sustainably. The garden produce is distributed to Miss Virginia's Mission House and among interested neighborhood residents free of charge.
