Family Friendly Guided Tour of Our Family Farm

Event details:
Anyone interested in learning more about how we rotationally graze our sheep and cattle and learning about how we operate and manage our small family farm should attend! We will provide a riding tour and people are welcome to walk the pastures. There are several areas on the property ideal for picnicking with your own packed lunch. 

Kids and adults of all ages are welcome. We will be providing samples of a few of our meat products for people to try.

We have an on-site farm retail store with individual cuts of frozen beef, pork, lamb and farm fresh eggs for sale.

NOTE: Berry Hill Farm and Cordes Berry Farm are both nearby to Bolinger Family Farm and they are hosting tours on the same days. Plan to visit them as well, while you are in the area.

Travel Tip:
Bolinger Family Farm is about 1.5 miles north of SR 13 on 100 E, just NE of Berry Hill Farm. Parking in the driveway east of the house as well as overflow parking in the yard in front of the bank barn. We also have outdoor hydrants to fill water bottles.

Bolinger Family Farm
Bolinger Family Farm is an 80 acre farm located 1.5 miles north of North Manchester. The farm has been in the family for over 50 years and currently is focused on raising livestock to feed our family and our local community. Our primary retail product is beef, but we also have lamb, pork, eggs, and maple syrup. 

We raise primarily purebred shorthorn cattle as well as shorthorn influenced British crosses. Our cattle are rotationally grazed throughout the growing season to promote improved soil qualities as well as improved vegetation. We raise Cheviot sheep which are a multiuse breed used for both wool and meat production. They are grazed in a similar manner to our cattle. Our young, weaned pigs are sourced locally and finished on our farm. Our free-range chickens produce varying shades of brown eggs. Maple sap is collected from trees on our farm and then boiled into syrup at a local producer's farm. 

We are currently utilizing the EQUIP program so if anyone has questions regarding using the program for their own farm, we are happy to share our experience!
