Local Food Week offers both families and foodies the opportunity to connect with the local food and farms they love. Our farm tours offer the chance to visit working urban and rural farms so families can teach their children where food comes from, and learn from our local farmers how they grow and produce local food.

Last year during 2021 Local Food Week, we were honored to have 22 different farms and local food businesses all across Northeast Indiana host over 500 participants for tours and events to connect our community to local food from Our Land to Our Tables. 

This year, we’re celebrating 2022 Local Food Week earlier in the summer growing season, so families across our region can attend more Farm Tours and Meet Your Farmer events while they explore local farms and enjoy their summer bounty.

If you are a local farm, food producer, restaurant, market or food-related business, Local Food Week is a great way to build connections with consumers and your community. You can choose to host one tour or event on one day during the week, or host multiple tours/events each day of Local Food Week! You choose what works best for you.

Register NOW to host a tour of your local food farm or community garden, or to host a local food themed event at your business or organization. There is NO COST to register your tour or event, and most tours/events are free for the public to attend.

In 2022, we are excited to again be working with our farm tour partners to offer Food & Farming Educational Activities during Local Food Week. In partnership with Parkview Health and our Northeast Indiana Farm to School Team, we will offer educational programs to enhance our farm tour experiences.

We will be publishing our popular Local Food Week Tour Book on our website and in print again this year. We are seeking advertisers to help cover our design & printing costs. Ad prices range from $50 - $300. See the link to complete details on Tour Book advertising below.
