Heartland Communities is an economic development organization working in the local food economy, We sponsor Plowshares Food Hub, Rose Avenue Education Farm, and the Refugee Incubator Farm of Northeast Indiana. The mission of the Stewards of Heartland Communities is to build communities that are economically, culturally, and environmentally restorative.

Our goal at Back to Earth Vermicastings is to provide our world with a product and service that is not only effective but also safe for our planet, environment, communities, and families. We help businesses and residences of Fort Wayne reduce their carbon footprints through waste reduction and the production of worm castings.
