Specially prepared local food tasting demonstrations will be offered throughout Local Food Week at Union Street Market. Demos and tastings will include a variety of prepared meal options and snacks made with locally-sourced ingredients, including smoothies, oatcakes, air fried veggies, prepared salads and relishes, pesto and other herb condiments and more!

Come enjoy a guided walk to our pastures to see the Bison calves that were born this spring, they won’t be too big yet. There will be Q&A throughout the tour along with some Bison meat and/or Bison snacks for tasting available after the tour. Enjoy shopping at our small gift store.

Come see the Ivy Tech Fort Wayne Agriculture Program’s fully automated 3,000 square foot greenhouse on campus! The campus greenhouse was built Spring 2018. The “Ivy Urban Farm” was founded in Summer 2021, and our Agriculture Program students began offering fresh produce at the YLNI Farmers Market on Barr Street that summer.
