Hop River Brewing Company was founded on the idea of using these four basic ingredients to create unique varieties of local craft beer. We treat our beer as an expression of our personality, from which we create our identity as a local brewery in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Our taproom is the place to have a pint, share stories with friends, and create memories.
Come enjoy our traditional, German beerhall-style taproom with rows of communal tables, shelves of board games for all-ages, and pinball tables. You can explore our lively outdoor patio with picnic tables, fire pits, and corn hole. We value our welcoming and relaxed family-friendly atmosphere during the day, which transitions into an adult scene playing Jenga in the evenings six days a week. Best of all worlds with a Fort Wayne beer in your hand and friends by your side!
We take pride in our Fort Wayne community by offering various events in partnership with local non-profits and other Fort Wayne breweries and wineries. We offer seasonal Fort Wayne dining using local ingredients on our from scratch kitchen menu. We are intentionally creative with our flavors both in your pint and on your plate. Stop by our taproom to enjoy a pint or find our beer at local restaurants or bars in the area.

We source as much as we can locally to support our agricultural community. Because of this, our menu may vary day to day depending on the ingredients sourced and delivered.
